Scene structure


Scene hierarchy

A single blipp uses nodes to reference the different elements which work together to create the experience. The diagram below shows the relationships between these nodes.


In the diagram above, Scene is the root node containing various other types of nodes. The Model node is the root of visible entities within a blipp, and can be one of two types:
    • Sprite which is used for 2D images
    • Mesh which is used for 3D models
The other nodes within the scene, such as Light, Material, Space, Texture, and Anim have functional purpose but cannot be displayed.

Each of these nodes may contain child nodes, thus defining the hierarchical structure leading into inherited properties in the case of transformations.

Some nodes are registered to the Blipp object for shared resource management such as Marker, System, User, Peel, etc...
