Safety Mode When enabled, performing certain actions will bring up confirmation messages or important status messages.
Verbose Output When enabled, detailed output messages will be written to the MAXScript Listener. These messages won’t interfere with your workflow but can be used to identify any problems which may have occurred while performing actions.
Send Errors to Developer When enabled, any caught errors during development will send an email to the developer who can use it for troubleshooting and bug fixes.

Project

Quick Export Skips the FileSaveDialog if you have already exported to a file during this session.
Show Prompt Display the export dialog before exporting
ZIP Path The path to a command line zip.exe.
Clean blipp assets This will remove any existing assets located on the target device in the blipp folder before exporting
ADB Path The path to adb.exe. If you want to debug using your android device then you will need to install the android SDK. See tutorial here
Install this and this. Instructions
iOS Path The path to iOSManager.exe. iOSManager will be installed with the BlippTools.

Peel Mode

Enable Peel When checked, the peelParams attribute will be exported.
Portrait Choose if when peeling the blipp will go to portrait or landscape.
Scale The scale value while in peel mode.
Offset The 2D offset of the peeled blipp.

Modelling

QUADS Turns all selected geometry into quads.
If geometry isn’t triangulated well when it comes into the blippar app this could well be because the original mesh has polygons with MANY sides. If you quadrify the mesh before exporting then this can help the triangulator find nice triangles to export. 3D Text is an example of creating a polygon with many sides that can cause issues with the triangulation, quadrifying can fix this problem.
RESET XFORM Reset the transform back to the identity on selected geometry.
Instances & modifier history will be lost with this operation.
Resetting the xform is a very important thing o do to your meshes to clean your scene up and improve your exports. Once you have scaled up your model to the correct size, you should use reset xform to reset the transform to the identity matrix, without affecting the size of geometry.
AUTO SMOOTH Apply smooth operations to all selected geometry based on smoothing angle.
CHECK MESH Checks selected geometry pass export verification.
SMOOTH ANGLE The smoothing angle threshold the smooth operation will use.

Materials

SCENE MEDIT Puts all scene materials in medit slots starting from the activeMeditSlot
If selected is checked, it only places materials from the currently selected geometry.
RESET MEDIT Clears all materials from the medit slots
CHECK MAT Checks all scene materials can be exported
If selected is checked, it only places materials from the currently selected geometry. What constitutes a valid material: * Must be of type Standard * If has a diffuse map, MUST be of type Bitmap. * If has an opacity map, MUST be of type Bitmap.
SOLID Modifies the activeMeditSlot into a Solid type material
Solid materials are not affected by dynamic lights. If ‘Change Textures’ is checked, then a FileOpenDialog will let you change to a different texture.
SHADED Modifies the activeMeditSlot into a Shaded type material
Shaded materials are affected by dynamic lights. If 'Change Textures' is checked, then a FileOpenDialog will let you change to a different texture.
ALPHA Modifies the activeMeditSlot into a Alpha type material
Alpha materials let the alpha channel of a PNG texture to influence the transparency of an object. If 'Change Textures' is checked, then a FileOpenDialog will let you change to a different texture.
TEX|A Modifies the activeMeditSlot into a TextureAlpha type material
TextureAlpha materials use the RGB values of a separate texture to define the material transparency. If 'Change Textures' is checked, then a FileOpenDialog will let you change to different textures.

Visibility

ALL Toggles the visibility of all objects
MARKER Toggles the visibility of the marker
MODEL Toggles the visibility of all geometry that isn't the marker
LIGHT Toggles the visibility of all lights
HELPER Toggles the visibility of all helpers

Verify

ALL Checks entire scene passes ALL verification tests
GEOMETRY Checks ALL geometry pass verification
The test makes sure all geometry is quads or triangles only.
''Although this isn't necessary to successfully export, it is good practice and can fix some problems in engine.
MATERIALS Checks ALL materials passes verification
The test makes sure all materials are standard types and have a valid diffuse texture type (Bitmap).
TEXTURES Makes sure all textures applied to materials exist and can be found on disk

System

REMOVE MISSING TEXTURES Removes unreferenced textures
If your scene will not export because there are missing textures (often due to receiving assets from clients with missing dependencies), then you can use this function to quickly remove any links to missing files.
REMOVE UDP Removes all user defined properties
At times your 'User Defined Properties' can become polluted with non blipp data from 3rd party plugins. So this function can be used to remove EVERY user defined property. This means any custom javascript will be removed.

About

Version The current version of the Toolbox
Check for Updates Checks for newer versions on the server
If any new updates for the toolbox are available this will download them to your machine and run the installer. The installer will require 3dsmax to be closed. So you should make sure you save any work first, download and run the latest update then when prompt close 3ds Max. You may have to wait 20 to 30 seconds for the 3dsmax process to full shut down, even after the main window has closed. When it is fully closed you will be able to reinstall the tools and restart 3dsmax.
